PRIVACY NOTICE – NOTIFY ME SERVICE BENETTON RUGBY CAPSULE COLLECTION

1. WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER

2. TYPES OF DATA

If you request to be notified of the launch of the Benetton Rugby capsule collection through the “Notify Me” service, we will process the personal data you provide when registering, specifically your email address.
Providing your email address is therefore necessary to provide the service. Failure to provide the data will make it impossible to register your request and send you the requested communications. The personal data you provide will be processed exclusively to manage the “Notify Me” service, by sending the relevant communications, and not for any further marketing purposes.

3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING, LEGAL BASIS AND RETENTION PERIOD

The personal data you provide will be processed exclusively to manage the “Notify Me” service: to register your request and send informational communications when the collection becomes available or is launched.

The legal basis for the processing is your freely given consent at the time of registration for the service, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), through a positive and unequivocal action: by entering your email address and clicking “LET ME KNOW WHEN AVAILABLE”, you consent to the processing of your data to receive the notification. Consent is optional, but in its absence it will not be possible to activate the service or send you the relevant communications.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. The procedures for withdrawing consent are set out in section 5.

The personal data you provide will be retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and, in any event, for no longer than 30 days from the request. Once this period has elapsed without the launch taking place, the data will in any event be deleted. No further use of the data for marketing purposes is envisaged.

4. SHARING INFORMATION WITH OTHER PARTIES

To manage the “Notify Me” service and send notifications relating to the launch of the Benetton Rugby capsule collection, the personal data provided may be disclosed to third parties who support us in providing the service, such as:

  • technology and hosting service providers;
  • providers of platforms for sending electronic communications (email);
  • other companies of the Group controlled by the Data Controller.

Such parties will process the personal data collected until the service has been provided, in their capacity as duly appointed data processors.
The use of the communication platforms mentioned above entails a transfer of data to entities established in countries outside the European Union (EU) or the EEA. Such transfer is carried out in compliance with the provisions of Chapter V of the GDPR.
You may contact us at any time using the contact details below to ask which parties the personal data is transferred to and to receive a copy of the safeguards adopted for the transfer.
The personal data will also be processed by internal personnel, who have been appropriately instructed and operate as persons authorised to process personal data.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

  • rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • erase your data where the relevant conditions are met;
  • restrict processing in the cases provided for by law;
  • object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation;
  • obtain the portability of the data you have provided, in a structured and machine-readable format.

You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Following withdrawal, the “Notify Me” service will be deactivated and your data will be deleted.
